Must be infused in boiling water prior to consumption.


Interesting Fact:
Echinacea derives its name from the Greek word for hedgehog, 'echinos'. The early American settlers adopted the therapeutic uses of echinacea from the Indian tribes, and brought it to Europe in the 1700's.


SUGGESTED USE:

Some varieties of Echinacea are grown as an ornamental plant in gardens, the flowers are dried and used in potpourri, a tea is made from the dried leaves and flowers.
